To grow into the soccer player that you want to become you will need to incorporate the four components of soccer used to develop player performance: Technique, Tactics, Physical, and Psychology.
Technique:
Is the ability to efficiently perform a task or specific soccer movement. This is the foundation to becoming an ELITE Soccer Player. This component included:

- Ball control
- Shooting
- Heading
- Moves 1v1
Tactics:
Once the technical qualities are taking care of, it is time to introduce the tactical component of the game. The tactics are the tools to develop the strategy. This component includes:
- Attacking principle
- Defensive principles
- Possession
- Transition
- Combination play
- Switching play
- Playing out from the back
Physical:
It is now time to address the third of the four component of soccer known as physical. This component deals with the players fitness. One of the most noticeable physical quality that a player may or may not possess is speed or pace. However, it is not the most necessary quality a player must have to be an ELITE Soccer Player. The one quality that is vital to a player’s success is endurance. Below are some of the aspects that fall into physical.

Psychosocial:
Up to this point we have talked about qualities from the Technical, Tactical, and Physical components of soccer, now it is time to address the Psychological component. This is the component that addresses intelligent and mentally string soccer players. This is where the player needs to learn how to use their emotions to their advantage and turn them into strengths.
